A Lady In Paris (2012)

A Lady In Paris (2012)

Anne leaves Estonia to come to Paris and care for Frida, an elderly Estonian lady who emigrated to France long ago. Anne soon realizes that she is not wanted. All Frida wants from life is the attention of Stephane, her younger lover from years ago. Stephane, however, is desperate for Anne to stay and look after Frida, even against the old lady's will. In this conflict of strangers, Anne finds her own way...

State of Washington

The reason why I am writing about this is that I had to write a research essay about this in vocational school. I ended up wanting to visit it´s places someday.

Washington is a leading lumber producer. Its rugged surface is rich in stands of Douglas fir, hemlock, ponderosa and white pine, spruce, larch, and cedar. The state holds first place in apples, lentils, dry edible peas, hops, pears, red raspberries, spearmint oil, and sweet cherries, and ranks high in apricots, asparagus, grapes, peppermint oil, and potatoes. Livestock and livestock products make important contributions to total farm revenue and the commercial fishing catch of salmon, halibut, and bottomfish makes a significant contribution to the state's economy. Manufacturing industries in Washington include aircraft and missiles, shipbuilding and other transportation equipment, lumber, food processing, metals and metal products, chemicals, and machinery.
As of 2013, Washington is the only state where cannabis, same-sex marriage, and assisted suicide are all legal. In 2008, the Washington Death with Dignity Act was passed, allowing legal assisted suicide. In the November 2012 general election, voters upheld Referendum 74, a bill that legalized same-sex marriage in Washington. Also in November 2012, Washington passed Initiative 50, making the sale and possession of marijuana (in limited amounts) for both medical and non-medical purposes legal.

New Jersey

Why New Jersey? Because my favourite actress is from there. Aside from this fact, New Jersey has
127 miles (204 km) of coastline on the Atlantic Ocean, more than 800 lakes and ponds, more than 100 rivers and creeks, 36 state parks, 11 state forests, 24 historic sites, 42 natural areas and 4 national recreational areas. In Hoboken area, New Jersey, is situated Carlo´s Bakery which is well known bakery because of the TV show "Cake Boss"
visitnj.org offers many activities  for tourists to do and places to visit.

Heartburn (1986)

Heartburn is a semi biographical movie about Nora Ephron´s short marriage with Carl Bernstein. It is based on Nora Ephron´s book "Heartburn" and is written by Nora and directed by Mike Nichols. The cast includes Meryl Streep and Jack Nicholson as lead characters and Meryl´s daughter Mamie Gummer playing toddler Annie.
Little bit about the movie:
An autobiographical look at the breakup of Ephron's marriage to Carl "All the President's Men" Bernstein that was also a best-selling novel. The Ephron character, Rachel is a food writer at a New York magazine who meets Washington columnist Mark at a wedding and ends up falling in love with him despite her reservations about marriage. They buy a house, have a daughter, and Rachel thinks they are living happily ever after until she discovers that Mark is having an affair while she is waddling around with a second pregnancy.
